Mitchell Right Where He Wants To Be

Mitchell made an adjustment in second half

D.J. Mitchell finished his second professional season ascending to the highest minor league level and finishing with a combined 13-4 record and 4.00 ERA. While he admits he could use a couple of tweaks, he feels for the most part that his game is right where he wants it to be.

"It felt good," D.J. Mitchell said of his regular season finale. "I was trying to build off of my previous start. I was falling behind in my last start and I wanted to make sure I attacked the hitters, attacked the zone, and for the most part I stayed ahead in the count and let the guys put the ball in play."
