YMLN - Williams Shines Again

DUNEDIN, FL - The Yankees took it on the chin again during Instructional League action, this time losing 11-5 to the Blue Jays in Dunedin on Wednesday afternoon, but once again it was Mason Williams who was New York's standout performer.

Mason Williams continues to be a difference-maker on offense. Beginning the game on the bench, he went a perfect 2-2 in a reserve role. He smacked an RBI opposite field double that one hopped the left field wall in his first at-bat and went to the opposite field again in his next at-bat, hitting a laser two-run home run over the left-centerfield fence.
