Feliz is starting to put things together

The Yankees signed then shortstop Anderson Feliz out of the Dominican Republic for a reported $750,000 as part of their 'July 2nd' signing group in 2008. A switch-hitter, the Yankees believed even back then that he had the chance to be an offensive middle infielder and that projection started coming to fruition with a breakout year of sorts in the Gulf Coast League last year.
