TAMPA, FL - On June 18, the Florida State League played their All-Star Game. In the three Tampa Yankees games sandwiching the break, Walter Ibarra played like he deserved a starting roster spot.

From June 15 through June 20, Walter Ibarra went 7-16 with two doubles, three home runs, five runs scored and nine RBIs. Ibarra didn't make the All-star team but he's still in the midst of the best season of his career.
