Tejeda Opening Some Eyes

When a young Latin player comes over to America to begin his professional baseball career, the life of a young kid changes forever. Isaias Tejeda, who is in his first year with the Yankees organization, has proven with his attitude and performance this season that not only is he handling life in America well, he is also putting up the numbers on the diamond.

Tejeda, who stands at 6-foot-0 and 195-pounds, is playing in the Gulf Coast League in his first professional season after playing in his native country of the Dominican Republic in 2010.
