RiverDogs outfielder Eduardo Sosa continued to work on his swing throughout this season. With the ability to be a leadoff hitter, he has been focused on hitting more ground balls than hitting for power.

Sosa, a 20-year old from Bolivar, Venezuela, came into the 2011 season with the Charleston RiverDogs recognized as the "fourth" outfielder, but he gained playing time throughout the season. With the added playing time, he was able to showcase his hitting and improve on his swing as well.
