DeLuca Learning To Ease Up

A strong argument could be made that left-handed pitcher Evan DeLuca is one of the hardest workers in the entire Yankees farm system. While that kind of work ethic can be a big-time plus, he says he is quickly learning it can work against him too as he has tailed off at the end of his first two seasons.

"I was good towards the beginning of the [2011] season and then it seemed my arm fatigued just like the year prior," DeLuca admitted. "I think that's more of me learning how to I guess maintain my arm and not peak so early, and not have that spike and eventual downfall like I've had the past two years."
