Matt Tracy was impressive yet again

TAMPA, FL - The Yankees once again played intrasquad games at the minor league complex in preparation for their official games to begin on Saturday and left-hander Matt Tracy followed up his strong Instructional League showing this offseason with a solid first Spring Training outing on Friday.

Matt Tracy, pitching for the Tampa Yankees, did give up a hit in his lone inning of work, a hot-shot single up the middle by Claudio Custodio [1-2] in the very first at-bat of the game, but retired the next three batters in quick fashion. Sitting 91-93 mph already, he mixed in his curve and changeup, and threw strike after strike. He was quite impressive. On the subject of leadoff hits...
