Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees third baseman Brandon Laird left the game early against the Rochester Red Wings Tuesday night due to a leg injury. He had hurt himself upon fielding a ground ball hit by Aaron Bates during the top of the 5th inning. After the game, he felt fine. This is good news for Yankees fans as Laird expects big results this season and a potential call up back to the majors.
