Russo On The Mend

There is nothing worse for a ball player to be swinging a hot bat and then having to put your game on hold due to an injury. That is what unfortunately happened to super utility man Kevin Russo on Sunday, June 24th in Indianapolis. After going three for four in the win, Russo was placed on the seven day disabled list the next day due to a sore right hamstring.

"I really can't pinpoint when it happened, it was just tight through out the game and just kept feeling it, kept feeling it," Russo said. "I played the rest of the game and the next day when I came in it was still pretty tight, I don't know exactly what happened." The injury could not have come at a worse time.
