CHARLESTON, SC - Catcher Francisco Arcia has played 66 games in his third year with the Charleston RiverDogs, three times as many games as his two previous seasons combined. Since the departure of Gary Sanchez, Arcia has been the everyday catcher. In this new role he has been a leader, both, on and off the field.

"He's done everything well," Charleston manager Carlos Mendoza said. "He's pretty much a solid guy all around. He's one of the guys you want on your club because he's such a great teammate and a leader, and he can help you in so many different ways."
