Joseph Not Where He Wants To Be

Joseph still wants to improve on everything

Second baseman Corban Joseph had a career year of sorts in 2012, hitting a combined .276 with a career-high 15 home runs between Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton with a majority of the damage coming at the highest minor league level. However, while he feels he is big league ready right now, he says he is still not where he wants to be as a player.

"I think it went really well," Joseph said of his 2012 season. "Defensively I feel like I could have done a little bit better but it was Triple-A and it takes me a few months to get my feet on the ground and get used to [a new] level. But overall I think I did what I wanted to do and everything worked out well." He hit 13 of his home runs at Triple-A, more than doubling his previous career...
