The New York Yankees signed shortstop Claudio Custodio out of the Dominican Republic in 2010. He had a breakout season with the Gulf Coast League Yankees in 2011 and then followed it up with a sub-par year by his standards in Staten Island this past season, but he still offers a lot of long-term projection and value.
