Scouting Yanks Prospect #44: Abraham Almonte

The Yankees signed then second baseman Abraham Almonte out of the Dominican Republic back in 2005. Since that time he has become an outstanding outfielder who proven to be a very disciplined hitter with plus speed and natural leadership abilities, but after shoulder surgery and nagging hamstring injuries, he is one who has had a hard time staying healthy.
