Cave Wants To Make It Tough

Outfielder Jake Cave was one of the real standouts in Spring Training camp this year and yet was held back in Extended Spring Training, mostly because he hasn't played much over the past two years after being derailed by injuries. He says his plan is keep his high level of play going in Tampa and make it tough on the Yankees to not give him a shot at some point later on.

"I felt like camp went really well for me," he said. "I felt like I had a really good Spring Training and did really well. There was nothing real particular that I was working on, kind of more just showing that I was good to go and the fact that I missed last year didn't affect me much.
