New Season, New Outlook For Bichette

Bichette has 13 RBIs in his first 11 games so far

CHARLESTON, SC - Heading into his second season in Charleston, Dante Bichette Jr. realized that improvements were needed to take him to the next level. Playing in 122 games last season, Bichette recorded only three home runs and accumulated 46 RBIs. Something needed to change, so the 20-year old talked to his parents about what steps he needed to take in order to improve his game.

His mother, Darianna, and father, 14-year Major League veteran Dante, hired a trainer to ensure their son was taking necessary steps to improve his game. "Offseason was great," said the younger Bichette. "I spent a lot of time in Boston performing with Eric Cressey and put on 15 pounds of muscle which has already made a huge difference in my game.
