Rutckyj Still Seeking More Consistency

55% of his earned runs have come in four starts

CHARLESTON, SC - Heading into his second season with the RiverDogs, Evan Rutckyj knew that changes needed to be made. The left-handed pitcher had shown flashes of improvement from time to time and that continues to be the case in 2013, but he still seeks to be more consistent going forward.

Currently 7-5 with a 4.93 ERA for the RiverDogs, Rutckyj's overall numbers are actually a bit off from where they were a year ago when he posted a combined 3.91 ERA between low-A Charleston and short-season Staten Island.
