Lookouts Lose Opener

Chattanooga loses the first game of the homestand against the Jackson Generals 8-0.

After traveling on the road for the past two weeks, in which time they only won two games, the Lookouts finally returned home to AT&T Field where they attempted to turn their luck around for the home crowd against the Generals.

By the bottom of the fourth inning the Lookouts found themselves in a 3-0 deficit against Jackson.

With no luck at turning the ballgame around, and no runs on the board Chattanooga was hit with five additional runs in the seventh by the Generals.

The Lookouts manager Jody Reed was unable to help his team any further along when he was ejected from the game in the sixth inning after arguing a close call at third where Osvaldo Martinez was called out.
