Cote Trending In The Right Direction

TAMPA, FL - Yankees pitching prospect Jordan Cote has made a mockery of Gulf Coast league hitting in 2013. The 6-foot-4 right-hander boasts a 1.08 ERA in 25 innings and opponents are hitting a pedestrian .191 against the former third round pick. But despite his stellar numbers this year, Cote isn't happy the way his second professional season started, dating back to Extended Spring Training.

"Extended [Spring Training] was tough, I was going through a lot of mechanical changes," Cote said. "I had to take a couple weeks off from games to just throw bullpens.
