Severino's Talent Coming Along

CHARLESTON, SC - The numbers for right-hander Luis Severino have actually been quite good thus far. What is scary though for opposing batters is the 20-year old is still learning to pitch in colder weather for the first time, he's still perfecting his breaking pitches, and he is refining his overall command. As good as he has been, he has the talent to be even better going forward.

He has slowly gotten better with each passing start after beginning the season allowing three earned runs in just two innings in his first start of the year.
