O'Brien Making The Adjustments

TRENTON, NJ - After taking the Florida State League and owning it with 19 RBIs a .321 average, along with league highs in home runs [10] and OPS (1.040), it was appropriate for catcher Peter O'Brien to take his talent and production on offense and test it with the Double-A Trenton Thunder.

On May 9, O'Brien was called up from the single-A Tampa Yankees to the Thunder and has since made his presence felt similarly to when in Tampa. Through nine games in Trenton, he's batting .289 and while he isn't making contact with the baseball nearly as consistently as he was at the level below, the production has still been there.
