CHARLESTON, SC - Right-handed pitcher Jaron Long is hitting his stride this season for the Riverdogs. Long, the son of Yankees' big league hitting coach Kevin Long, was born with baseball in his blood, but that's not what has gotten him this far. His dedication, determination, and passion for the game have guided him through some tough times on his journey to pro ball.

"I definitely have a chip on my shoulder," Long said.
