Wetherell has really developed his repertoire

Phil Wetherell has drawn quite a bit of attention after posting a masterful 0.42 ERA in 17 games with high-A affiliate Tampa. Most notably, the power right-hander has yet to give up a home run, he has only forfeited one earned run this season, and is starting to gain his coaching staff's trust in tight situations.

"I think he's doing fine so far," Tampa manager Al Pedrique said. "He's shown more confidence and composure when the game is on the line and in tight situations. He's also done a good job for us out of the pen."
