Gamel is hitting better against lefties this year

TRENTON, NJ - He isn't overly flashy nor is he very toolsy, but Trenton outfielder Ben Gamel has been one of the most consistent players for the Thunder since his promotion to Double-A last season and he continues to hone his overall game.

In his second season with the Trenton Thunder, he is currently batting .282 with a team-high 70 hits, including 14 doubles. Over the past 10 games, he is currently hitting .333 and continues to be a difficult out for opponents to get. After starting the 2013 season down in Tampa, Ben Gamel worked his way up to Double-A and played the last 16 games of the season with the Thunder, batting .53...
