Note: This list is not about who are the better players or prospects, but rather who is doing the best and making the most of their opportunities.

Rank Name Team Comments Last Week's Rank
Luis Severino TRE Struck out 7 batters and didn't allow an earned run in his last start; has struck out 19 more batters than the next highest pitcher this season 2

Aaron Judge TAM Hitting .306 in his last 32 high-A games with five home runs, two of which have come in the last two games 1

Rob Refsnyder SWB There has been a significant cooling off period, hitting just .256 in his last 32 games 3

Kyle Roller SWB Became the farm system home run leader [21] after O'Brien was traded; he's picking it up lately [2 HRs in last 5 games] after a not-so great July [.247, 3 HRs in 27 games] 4

Jose Pirela SWB He, along with Severino, haven't seen great fluctuations in production; he's hitting .307 in his last 32 games 5

Jake Cave TRE Taking a shining to Double-A, he has reached base safely in 16 of his first 18 Trenton games; has led the farm system in hits [141] all season long 7

James Pazos TRE Two more scoreless appearances this past week and has a 0.36 ERA in his last 17 games; lefties are hitting just .129 against him 11

Jaron Long TRE Won two straight starts last week, allowing just 2 earned runs in 12.2 innings with 11 K's; still leads farm system starters in ERA [2.27] 12

Jacob Lindgren TRE Promoted again, this time to Double-A; posting video game-like numbers thus far [0.68 ERA, 30 K's in 13.1 innings] 13

Nick Rumbelow SWB Tearing through the minors, he was promoted to Triple-A this past week; he struck out 15 Double-A batters in 7.1 innings and struck out two in two scoreless innings in his Triple-A debut 10

Daniel Camarena TRE Making the Double-A adjustment, he has allowed three earned runs total in his last two starts; his combined 3.20 ERA ranks 4th among farm system starters 15

Eric Jagielo TAM Had two more HRs this past week and went 7-23 [.304]; has 15 home runs this season -- imagine if he didn't miss two months of the season! 16

Dante Bichette Jr. TAM Cooling off a bit lately, hitting just .146 in his last 11 games, but he finished the month of July with 11 doubles and 19 RBI 9

Ian Clarkin CHA Reportedly promoted to high-A Tampa, he tossed five shutout innings in his last Charleston start 18

Caleb Smith TAM Had two clunkers this past week, allowing 11 earned runs in 8.1 innings; when he's on this season, he's dominant. When he's not though, he's been really roughed up. He needs to learn to avoid the clunkers 8

Gary Sanchez TRE He's having more of a solid season than folks realize, hitting .275 with 12 home runs and 56 RBI [just 4 behind Roller]; he's hitting .308 in his last 26 games too NR

Greg Bird TRE Promoted to Double-A after posting an .817 OPS in 75 high-A games; hit his first Double-A home run three games into his promotion 14

Miguel Andujar CHA Hitting .327 over his past 42 games with 11 doubles and four home runs, there arguably isn't a hotter hitter in the farm system right now and he's doing it as one of the youngest players in the Sally League NR

Tyler Austin TRE Like Andujar the numbers are creeping way up lately; Austin is hitting .314 in his last 31 games and for the season he has a better strikeout rate and walk rate than Ben Gamel - that's impressive NR

Tyler Webb SWB Promoted yet again [this time to Triple-A], Webb is among the strikeout leaders [81] down on the farm and he's done it coming out of the bullpen NR
