The Yankees selected Eric Hacker in the 23rd round of the 2002 draft. However, it took until the 2005 season for the former high school draftee to overcome injury problems and show what he was truly made of. He has now become a pitcher with excellent control and deceptively good stuff. For these reasons and more, he's our Yankees' prospect #26.
