Stuart Looks to Slide Up Ladder

Stuart's innings have been hard to come by

Boasting the top slider in the Yankee organization, Cory Stuart has taken his slider to Charleston to add to their pitching staff in 2006. Though he has not seen the field much, Stuart has been very productive when he has been on the mound. Featuring a devastating slider and a solid fastball, Stuart has very good potential and has not disappointed this year either.

"I'm pretty happy with what I'm doing," Cory Stuart said of his start to the 2006 season. "So far I've done my job so far pretty much. So far I haven't blown a save, so that's pretty good. My hit total iss a little higher than normal, but I think part of that is bad luck." Stuart came to Charleston this year after having a successful 2005 campaign in Staten Island.
