What The Yankees Gave Up In The Abreu Deal

The New York Yankees acquired All-Star right fielder Bobby Abreu and starting pitcher Cory Lidle from the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday for C.J. Henry, Matt Smith, Jesus Sanchez, and Carlos Monasterios. While the trade instantly helps the Yankees for 2006, the Yankees did trade away some talent that could provide some depth for Philadelphia in the long run.
