Fortenberry Continues His Surprising Season

Fortenberry considers himself a small-ball player

Drafted out of Baylor University in the 11th round this past June, outfielder Seth Fortenberry has become a consistent offensive force with the Staten Island Yankees. While his success this season hasn't been too surprising, his home run production has caught many by surprise.

"He surprised me from the first time we saw him," said Staten Island Hitting Coach Ty Hawkins. "He has shown some surprising power for a guy with a lean body type. You don't expect that out of him.
