Hilligoss Seeks Perfection In The Cages

Hilligoss is making the move over to third base

Mitch Hilligoss had a very solid debut season in Staten Island last year, hitting .292 with 13 extra-base hits as a shortstop. Now getting ready for his first full-season over at third base, a jump in offensive production will be expected and he says he is looking for more from himself in the cages this spring.

"It's going good so far," Mitch Hilligoss said of his first Spring Training. "I'm trying to get in a little routine right now. We had meetings and stuff the first couple of days. I want get a feel back for my swing and my throwing arm, stuff like that."
