Patterson Hoping For A Healthy Season

Patterson just wants to stay on the mound

Garrett Patterson has had a string of bad luck when it comes to his health. Injuries have plagued him since his college days at the University of Oklahoma and his luck has not changed since he started his professional career with the Yankees. So when asked what would be his main focal point in 2007, his answer was simple.

"This season my main goal is to stay healthy," Garrett Patterson quickly admitted. "I think everything else is going to take care of itself. If I stay healthy, throw a full season, get 120 to 130 innings in, I think I'll be able to call it a successful season."
