Ramirez Confident He'll Be Back

Ramirez has a 0.79 ERA since his return to AAA

Edwar Ramirez was a sure thing out of the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre bullpen prior to his call-up to the Major Leagues. In New York however, one bad outing on July 20th after not pitching for two weeks skewed his numbers before being sent back down to Triple-A. Since then, Ramirez has re-discovered his success upon his return to Scranton.

In Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, his ERA holds strong at 0.71 in 24 games and has a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 64/12. When these numbers are all broken down, it leaves many wondering how he didn't achieve success in New York.
