Dunn Found The Change

Going 12-5 with a 3.42 ERA - finishing the year in the top ten in the South Atlantic League in wins, ERA, and strikeouts - Mike Dunn had a fantastic season for his first taste of the long-season leagues. However, struggling with his changeup for a majority of the season relegated him to predominantly being a two-pitch hurler until he found his change once again later in the year.

"I would have to say my last five outings it was back," Mike Dunn said of his changeup. "All year long I was using fastball-slider - as a starter for the Yankees you have to use ten percent changeups. I was just reaching that ten percent in the beginning because I didn't have confidence in it." While his 0-2 record and 6.46 ERA in August might not reflect the resurrection of his plus...
