The Yankees drafted catcher Chase Weems in the sixth round of the 2007 MLB Draft out of Columbus High School in Georgia. Battling mononucleosis and subsequent stomach ulcers, he signed too late to make his professional debut last season. Here's a scouting report on Chase Weems.
