Signed out of the Dominican Republic in February of 2004 as a 16-year old, Eduardo Nunez leapt on to the prospect scene with a dominant U.S. debut with the Staten Island Yankees in 2005. Since that time he has posted two disappointing offensive seasons but baseball insiders still remain excited about his future potential, especially now that he has given up switch-hitting.
