Robertson averaged 12 K's per nine innings in '07

The New York Yankees drafted University of Alabama closer David Robertson in the 17th round of the 2006 MLB Draft. Signing for fifth round money, he signed too late to begin his professional career then but went a combined 8-3 with a 0.96 ERA and 113 strikeouts in just 84 innings at three different levels, advancing all the way to Double-A, in his debut season in 2007.
