Yankees Scouting Report: Taylor Grote

The Yankees drafted outfielder Taylor Grote in the eighth round of the 2007 MLB Draft out of The Woodlands High School in Texas. Although signing too late to make his professional debut last season outside of one pinch-hit at-bat, he begins his professional career brimming with confidence and with one of the more solid overall games.
