The Yankees drafted Brett Gardner in the 3rd round of the 2005 MLB Draft out of the College of Charleston. Despite hitting .288 in his career and showcasing some of the best speed in all of professional baseball, as well as being close to big league ready, he continually gets overlooked by his critics for his lack of power.
