The Yankees signed Jairo Heredia out of the Dominican Republic as part of their 'July 2nd' signing group in 2006. Making his professional debut with the Gulf Coast League Yankees last season, while the numbers were quite solid, it was the polish he showed in his game as a 17-year old that has scouts and team officials alike truly excited about his future potential. | |
