CHARLESTON, SC - It's not easy to stand out on a team that is collectively hitting a South Atlantic League leading .308, yet Justin Snyder has been able to make quite a name for himself this season with the Charleston Riverdogs. Snyder leads the SAL in average - hitting a devastating .423 - and in OBP (.483), tied with teammate Jesus Montero for first in hits (22), and third in slugging (.654).

Justin Snyder was the Yankees 21st round pick of the draft last year and hit .335 in the shortened Staten Island season. He was confident coming into this year in Charleston that he could again start the season off well again.
