Romine Ready To Get Back In The Game

Austin Romine is now day-to-day

CHARLESTON, SC - Since April 23rd, Charleston Riverdogs catcher Austin Romine has been on the disabled list with a groin injury. He was forced to sit, leaving behind a .351 average. In the ten games prior to his injury, he had seven multi-hit games and five RBI. Needless to say, his is a bat that is sorely missed by a Riverdogs team already ravaged by injuries.

Austin Romine is ready to get back in the lineup and says he feels even better than he did before the injury. "I'm feeling absolutely perfect," he said. "The trainers did a good job of getting me back to where I need to be. I'm just taking my time, trying not to rush back."
