Pruitt Ready For A Fresh Start

Pruitt is hitting .333 in his first eight games

CHARLESTON, SC - Braedyn Pruitt, who had an amazing season in 2007 with the Staten Island Yankees, finishing the season second in batting average in the New York-Penn League and eighth overall in all of minor league baseball, was brought to Charleston from Tampa after hitting .100 in twelve games in the Florida State League.

Braedyn Pruitt played just four games with the Riverdogs before falling victim to a stomach virus that kept him out of the lineup for three games. "I don't know if it was bad food or a stomach virus, but definitely not good interview talk," said Pruitt. "It was a rough couple days."
