Things Falling Into Place For Jones

Known as a control pitcher throughout his career and somewhat buried in the pitching-rich Yankees farm system, Jason Jones won't light up too many radar guns but he has certainly been filling up the win column this season with the Trenton Thunder. Adding some velocity and improving his repertoire this season has helped him to a 7-0 start in Double-A, and he's not done adding to his game.

"I feel real good," Jason Jones said of his hot start to the 2008 season. "The confidence is good, all of my pitches are there. The splitty has been really good so far, it has really helped my fastball. "I've always had command [and] it's still there.
