Sublett Still On The Mend

Sublett hasn't played since May 29th

Second baseman Damon Sublett had one of the best offensive seasons in Staten Island history last year and that allowed him to bypass the low-A level entirely this season. While experiencing the growing pains that come with such a jump, he hurt himself at the end of May and he has been working his way back ever since.

"I tore two ligaments in my left ankle," Damon Sublett revealed. "I tore one of them completely and the other one I had like a 50 percent tear.
