Betances' Game Coming Together

Betances worked on his changeup in Instructs

Dellin Betances is known for having some of the best stuff around, but at 6-foot-9 he has had a harder time repeating his delivery. He also was so big it took him some time to get to home plate with his pitches and defensively he was behind most of the other hurlers. These are all areas he vastly improved on in 2008 and his game is coming together quite nicely.

"Coming off of Instructs I feel I'm real good doing those parts," Dellin Betances opined. "I got to field my position and pick a guy off. I feel like I still need to work on stuff. You can always work on stuff, but I felt like I was pretty good at that."
