Hacker's game has gone to a new level

The Yankees selected Eric Hacker in the 23rd round of the 2002 draft out of Duncanville High School in Texas. He missed all of the 2004 season with Tommy John surgery and then missed another year in 2006 with shoulder surgery. When he's been healthy he has proven his ability to get batters out and his stuff improved immensely when he finally put together his second straight healthy year in 2008.
