Claggett has a lot of value in the bullpen

Anthony Claggett, originally drafted in the 11th round of the 2005 MLB Draft out of UC-Riverside, was the third pitcher obtained in the Gary Sheffield trade with the Detroit Tigers. He spent his first season with the Yankees last year refining his mechanics and adding a changeup, and they made huge dividends with his strong 2008 performance which resulted in a 40-man roster spot this offseason.
