Romine Settling In With Tampa

Romine has gotten off to a better start this year

Austin Romine has learned how to settle in with a new ball club. He settled in with the Charleston Riverdogs after the All Star break last season and he now feels comfortable with himself behind the plate and beside it, feeling enhancements in all aspects of his game. Part of this comfort level stems from an increased sense of confidence and his ability to quickly adapt to new surroundings.

Austin Romine performed last year in Charleston, hitting the ideal mark with a .300 batting average along with ten home runs and 49 runs batted in. He hopes to do the same this year, with a slight twist. "Ultimately, I want to hit .300, I want to have 10 home runs. Ultimately, that's where you want to be.
