Adams Moving One Step Closer

During the All-Star break, Tampa Yankee's David Adams found out he was getting promoted while waiting for his car to get fixed. The second-baseman said guys were hinting at a possible promotion when a spot opened up for him after Tampa Yankee's Damon Sublett moved to the outfield.

In his first appearance on Thursday, David Adams had three at-bats and one error. He moved up from Charleston where he posted .290 batting average, 32 runs and collected 75 hits. Adams stole eight bases too, but racking up nine errors in Charleston, Adams said his performance wasn't up to his standards.
