Gil Focusing On Mechanics

After hurting his arm in Extended Spring Training last year and failing numerous attempts at rehab, Daniel [Francisco] Gil decided that his best option was to undergo Tommy John surgery. Now, Gil is back on the mound and feeling good about his pitching.

"I got the operation done last May and I feel pretty good right now," Gil said with the help of a translator. "I feel more confident about my pitches and I feel a little better."
